Rude Boy is our hard charging Wasatch one quiver ski that gives a nod to traditional ski making while leaning into the future of telemark.
This year we have modified the Rude Boy to have a new early rise tip profile while mainting normal camber underfoot. This allows for great edge hold on hard snow, but the early rise tip and 105mm underfoot allows the Rude Boy to float on deep days.
The early tip rise begins at the contact point going back an additional 10cm for the optimal flotation in soft snow while not sacrificing the contact of the edge on firmer snow.
It’s built superbly on a chassis of an ash and beech wood core along with carbon fiber, glass and kevlar. We have combined these materials specifically for telemark skiers to help increase binding retention and keep your mounts firmly in the ski.
This ski is for the intermediate to expert telemark skier that is comfortable with a stiffer profile and having to take charge of the ski to make them do what you want. Noodle lovers need not apply.
